‍On June 20, 2024 (the “Petition Date”), SmartFi filed a petition for relief under chapter 11 of title 11 of the United States Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah, commencing Chapter 11 Case No. 24-bk-23041-JTM. SmartFi remains in possession of its estate and is operating its businesses. SmartFi is using chapter 11 to reorganize its business and restructure certain of its liabilities. Part of its plan of reorganization is to continue to operate the SmartFi platform and continue to offer innovative, technology-driven financial products to its clients. The chapter 11 docket will include voluminous pleadings and filings related to the Chapter 11 Case, the plan, and other matters. SmartFi will post all filings in chronological order below. You may access them free of charge at any time. If you have general questions about the Chapter 11 Case, you may contact SmartFi’s chapter 11 counsel as follows:
